On August 24,the summer football camp hosted by Borussia Monchengladbach,a long-established powerhouse in the Bundesliga,opened at the Global Super Sports Center in Shenyang.

This marks the club's first-ever roll-out of its mature German youth training system in Northeast China.

Borussia Monchengladbach was founded in 1900, and is nicknamed "the Foal" by fans for its agile, dynamic playing style. The team has claimed five Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokal championships and two UEFA Cup crowns. The club's unique youth development system "Foal's Philosophy" enjoys a solid reputation across Europe, having nurtured football superstars such as Lothar Matthaus, Stefan Effenberg and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The three-day camp is coached by Borussia Monchengladbach's coaching team. Head Coach Marco Ketelaer boasts 20 years of coaching experience. As a former player, he featured in over 100 German professional matches and once led his side to a DFB-Pokal title.The camp focuses on fostering players' on-field creativity, tactical awareness and teamwork spirit. Outstanding participants will receive priority attention and further development opportunities from Borussia Monchengladbach.
