The NCFL is in full swing,and the Liaoning Football City League is also about to take place.

On August 5,the draw ceremony for the 3rd Liaoning Football City League and the 2027 NCFL (Liaoning Division) Qualification Tournament was held at the Shenhe District Cultural and Sports Center.

Starting August 27,the 3rd Liaoning Football City League will commence in full.

This year's competition follows the previous grouping rules. The 14 teams are divided into Northern and Southern divisions with four groups in total according to geographical location. The grouping results are as follows: Fushun, Tieling and Chaoyang are in Northern Division Group A; Shenyang, Huludao, Fuxin and Jinzhou are in Northern Division Group B; Anshan, Dalian and Panjin are in Southern Division Group A; and Dandong, Yingkou, Benxi and Liaoyang are in Southern Division Group B.

The competition consists of three stages: regular season, playoff and knockout stage. All matches are scheduled on weekends. The regular season will kick off in August and be held in Shenyang, with group winners advancing directly to the quarterfinals. Group runners-up will compete against third-placed teams from other groups in single-elimination playoff matches for the remaining spots. The final will take place on November 7, determining the champion, runner-up, third-place finisher and all individual awards through a single decisive match.

Chen Bo, a football legend from Shenyang and former captain of the Shenyang Sea Lion Football Club, will serve as head coach for the Shenyang team. The squad will consist of players from the Shenyang Mantianxing Football Club, students from the Shenyang Sport University and athletes selected from the general public. The team is currently training hard under the guidance of the coaching staff.
