The second home match of the Shenyang team for the NCFL is around the corner,and cheering squads for the Shenyang Division are wrapping up their final rehearsals.

On June 8,the cheering performance squad composed of over 2,100 Chinese and international students from the Shenyang City University held a full group rehearsal.

Over 150 international students from countries such as South Africa,joined the squad,making the NCFL gain a stronger international flair.

"All international students were eager to join the cheering squad, and every one of them diligently learned the three songs 'Northeast China, My Hometown', 'Shenyang, Oh Shenyang' and 'We All Workmen Have Got Power'," said Jiang Chang, an academic administrator of the Student Affairs Office of the International Education School at the Shenyang City University.During rehearsals, these students insisted on singing loudly in Chinese. Melodious tunes echoed across the stadium, showcasing the captivating charm of sports that transcends national borders.

An international student from South Africa with the Chinese name An Song, said that he and many fellow international students are football enthusiasts who follow various football matches regularly."We often watch online clips relevant to the NCFL. To us, this tournament is the 'World Cup' for people in Northeast China. Its atmosphere is electric, and every match is full of highlights. When we heard we could come to the stadium to cheer for the Shenyang team, all of us were overjoyed and signed up right away," said An Song.
