On May 24,the launch ceremony for the 2026 Liaoning and Shenyang Science and Technology Week was held at the Liaoning Materials Laboratory.

This year's Science and Technology Week will run until May 31,featuring over a hundred high-quality thematic science popularization activities with broad coverage.

During the Science and Technology Week, Shenyang's cutting-edge achievements in artificial intelligence, quantum technology, aerospace, new materials and other fields will be showcased.The event will feature immersive activities such as AR science exploration, hands-on AI robotics, RoboMaster competitions and 3D bioprinting experience. Through real-life demonstrations and interactive participation, visitors can directly experience the scientific and technological charm in emerging fields such as AI, quantum technology and embodied intelligence, engaging in conversations about the "future" together.

Centered on science popularization and education for youth, the Science and Technology Week will launch a series of activities including the students' science popularization festival, the instrument open day, the scientists' spirit entering campus, the mobile science exhibition tour, the natural and biological science popularization and the drone science popularization day. Through engaging activities such as study tour in museums, coding experiencs, scientific experiment and specimen making, the event will integrate science education into after-school practices, supporting the implementation of easing the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education and fostering young people's scientific innovation literacy.

In addition, during the event, a series of science popularization activities close to the public will be brought into families, communities, schools and rural areas.
