On May 5,the 2026 Baturu Trail MT. Ba'erhu Mountain Running Race took place in Kangping County, Shenyang.

Over 1,500 trail running enthusiasts from across the country gathered at the Ba'erhu Mountain Scenic Area and engaged in a contest of speed and endurance in the mountains and forests.

As the starting whistle blew at 9 a.m., runners of the 40km, 30km and 20km groups, dressed in colorful sports outfits, dashed off from the starting gate and embarked on their trail running journey along dedicated tracks. At 9:30 a.m., young participants of the 7km "Mountain Youngsters" Group set off on time. Their youthful yet determined figures became the most vibrant scenery along the track.

The race route links iconic scenic spots including the "Most Beautiful Windmill Road" and Ba'erhu Mountain. While challenging themselves and conquering the mountains and wilderness, participants immersed themselves in the natural beauty and cultural charm of Ba'erhu Mountain.

A total of 6 groups were set for the race, catering to runners of all ages and competitive levels, allowing for universal participation and the shared joy of sports. After fierce competition, the champions, runners-up and third-place winners of each group were decided successively, marking a successful conclusion of the event.
