From January 16 to January 18,the 2025-2026 FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup will be held at the Dongbeiya International Ski Resort in Shenyang.

Recently,nearly 200 athletes from over 20 countries and regions arrived in Shenyang.

From the snow track laying and the warm hospitality of volunteers to accommodation, catering and other logistical support,Shenyang is welcoming this peak showdown with professional and efficient preparations and a warm and attentive "city temperature".

For the athletes who stepped onto this ski resort for the first time, the high-quality snow left a deep impression on them. Swiss athlete Sina couldn't hide her excitement after completing the adaptive skiing, and she said, "This is my first time in Shenyang. It's a very beautiful and comfortable city with excellent accommodation and dining conditions. I love Shenyang! Today, I experienced the competition venue for the first time. The track is great. I saw many people skiing. It's going to be very lively during the competition. I believe this will be a wonderful competition experience."

During the competition, skiers visiting the Dongbeiya International Ski Resort in Shenyang can watch the matches for free. The ski resort has specially set up a large pot with a diameter of three meters. During the competition, visitors can enjoy the delicious pickled Chinese cabbage with plain boiled pork and blood sausage while watching the thrilling world-class ski event.
