From January 16 to January 18,the 2025-2026 FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup will be held at the Dongbeiya International Ski Resort in Shenyang.

This World Cup race marks the first time that Liaoning Province hosts an A-class event by the International Ski Federation(FIS).It is also the final World Cup race before the Milan Winter Olympics,which will open on February 6,2026,and serves as the last opportunity for athletes to earn Olympic qualification points.

As of now,nearly 200 top athletes and accompanying officials from 21 countries and regions have registered to participate.Notably,the top three ranked athletes in both the men's and women's snowboard cross events have confirmed their attendance.Additionally,other international star athletes,including winners of World Cup stage races and medalists at the World Championships,will also compete.
