On December 9, hosted by the Oriental Outlook magazine of the Xinhua News Agency, the Happiest Cities Forum 2025 was held in Chengdu. The event released a series of lists of the happiest cities in China in 2025. Shenyang was listed among the happiest cities. This is the forth consecutive year that Shenyang has won this title.
