"Hello Shenyang" Global Promotion Event (Munich) was recently held in Munich, Germany.More than 150 representatives from the German political and business sectors attended the event.

At the promotion event, Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government, Shenyang Municipal Commerce Bureau, Shenyang Automobile Co.,Ltd, Tiexi District and Dadong District highlighted the success of the "Hello Shenyang" global promotion serial events launched last year, as well as the new upward trend of Shenyang's economic and social development.Moreover, they introduced the overall goal of Shenyang to build a national central city in the new year, and underscored Shenyang's commitment to becoming an international central city in Northeast Asia and a hub for opening up and cooperation in Northeast Asia, and to making new breakthroughs in ten key development areas, including promoting high-level opening-up.They sincerely invited all of attendees to visit Shenyang and promote exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields between Shenyang and Germany.

Shenyang has maintained long-term sound economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges with Germany.

✔ In 2023, the total import and export volume between Shenyang and Germany reached CNY 33.29 billion, ranking first among 219 countries and regions that have trade relations with Shenyang.

✔ As of July 2024, Shenyang has approved the establishment of 207 German funded enterprises. Especially BMW has invested over CNY 100 billion in Shenyang, and the BMW Shenyang production base has become one of the most important production bases of the BMW Group worldwide.

During the event, Tiexi District, Dadong District and Shenbei New District respectively signed project cooperation agreements with Rhenus Automotive, Webasto Group, OTTO FUCHS KG, etc.

Since last year, the "Hello Shenyang" Global Promotion Event has been held successfully in cities such as Tokyo of Japan, Seoul of the ROK, Paris of France, Geneva of Switzerland, Sydney of Austria in succession, becoming a beautiful brand to promote and showcase Shenyang, enhance exchanges and cooperation, and facilitate high-quality development with high-level opening-up.
