On August 1,the "Happy Run·Passionate Youth" 2024 Shenyang Youth Skateboard Open Tournament kicked off at the 411 Skateboard Park in Shenyang.

The Youth Skateboard Open Tournament covers three events of skateboard street, skateboard bowl and skateboard racing, and comprises three groups, namely Group B, Group C, and Children's Group. Among these events, skateboard street and skateboard bowl are also Olympic events. Over 100 contestants from 10 clubs in Liaoning Province signed up enthusiastically for this competition.

With the beginning of the competition, the athletes took turns to show up on their skateboards and perform various fancy moves. As each difficult action was completed, the audiences gave loud cheers.

With skateboarding being an event at the Olympics and the Asian Games, skateboarding culture has gradually moved from the street to the mainstream, and has become a positive lifestyle and attitude for young people nowadays.This competition not only provides a stage for young skateboarders to show themselves and a platform to exchange skills, but also promotes the popularity and development of skateboarding in Shenyang.
