From July 14 to 17, Bruno Angelet, Belgian ambassador to China, and his delegation visited Shenyang for in-depth exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Shenyang and Belgium.

Bruno Angelet and his delegation visited the Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum, expressing great interest and sincere admiration for its exquisite architectural techniques and profound historical connotation.Bruno Angelet said that this was his first time to visit Shenyang, and he was deeply impressed by both the city's profound historical connotation and the scale of the city.

"Shenyang is a big city. There are many high-rise buildings here, and parks and green spaces can be found everywhere in the city. It is common to see many people cycling, running and relaxing along the riverbanks," said Bruno Angelet."I think that the people in Shenyang are very happy with their lives. I am impressed by the modernization, innovation and green development of this city," he stated.

For a long time,Shenyang and Belgium have had frequent exchanges and close contacts,and the two sides have carried out rich and practical exchanges and cooperation in investment, trade and other fields.

"I know that a significant Belgian investment here is the Bekaert company, specializing in steel manufacturing, which has settled in Shenyang for over 20 years. During my visit, I also visited the 1905 Re-Creative Space, whose founder is a talented Belgian-Chinese, and I think it is also a resource for promoting exchanges between Shenyang and Belgium in the cultural field. Additionally, I toured the free start art bonded warehouse in Shenyang Area of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone, featuring more than 3,000 pieces of artworks from Belgium, and I believe this is also a very worthwhile project to promote," said Bruno Angelet."I look forward to witnessing further cooperation and exchanges between Shenyang and Belgium in the future.
