On July 1,the core startup area of Hunnan Science and Technology City was officially opened.50 settled-in projects were simultaneously unveiled.

The core startup area of Hunnan Science and Technology City covers an area of 7.2 square kilometers and features four innovative spaces including scientist workshop, "Cloud of Wisdom" building, sci-tech service zone and innovative enterprise incubator as well as supporting infrastructure.

Currently, Liaoning Materials Laboratory and Liaoning Liaohe Laboratory have been put into operation, and 392 scientific and technological innovation platforms have been put into use.

During the opening ceremony, 50 key scientific and technological projects have been intensively settled, among which there are 3 academician scientific and technological innovation centers, 10 element function service projects, 3 jointly-built projects and 34 major scientific and technological achievement industrialization projects.
