On February 20, the Shenyang Sports Bureau held the 2024 Shenyang Boutique Sports Competition Event Promotion Conference, which attracted more than 150 enterprises and over 300 people to participate.

This promotion conference focuses on strengthening "foreign affairs plus" and creating the "international Shenyang". The Shenyang Sports Bureau, together with the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shenyang Municipality, specially invited consular officials from the Consulates General of the United States, Japan, Russia, the ROK, France and Australia, to participate in the conference.

At the conference, 12 boutique sports competitions were promoted, including Shenyang Marathon, Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament of Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area and the 14th Shenyang Dragon Boat Grand Prix, Shenyang PEACE CUP International Juvenile Football Tournament, Shenyang Open Regatta, Asian Rowing Junior Championships, China Athletics Street Tour, CGA International Junior Masters, 2024 Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area Volleyball Elite Competition, China (City) International Cheerleading Elite Competition, Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area Junior Basketball Carnival, "Revitalization Cup" Shenyang Youth Ice Hockey Tournament and ITF World Tennis Tour.

In addition to these 12 boutique sports competitions, this year, Shenyang plans to hold more than 1,100 competition events of competitive sports, mass sports, youth sports and elderly sports. The events will cover more than 100 regions and attract over 5.5 million people to participate.
