On September 4,the 14th Conference on ASEAN-China People to People Friendship Organizations kicked off in Penang, Malaysia.

The working group of the Shenyang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries held the "Hello Shenyang" Global Promotion Event (Malaysia Station) during the conference,presenting Shenyang's city promotional brochures to representatives from ASEAN countries.

The promotion speech showcased Shenyang's long history and culture, profound industrial culture and colorful ethnic culture, as well as significant geographical advantages, rich culture and tourism resources and modern and inclusive urban characteristics to friendship organizations, enterprises, business associations and media from ASEAN countries.Moreover, the promotion speech introduced the positive achievements made by Shenyang in promoting high-level opening-up and achieving high-quality development, as well as its main practices in promoting the city's internationalization and improving the level of foreign-related public services, to make attendees understand and apperceive Shenyang from multi-dimensions.

The Chinese Embassy in Malaysia highly praised the "Hello Shenyang" Global Promotion Event (Malaysia Station) and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries stated that the Association would support and promote local people-to-people friendly exchanges between Shenyang and ASEAN countries.Representatives from ASEAN countries praised the event as very wonderful.
