On March 20, Shenyang held a promotion event of Making Full Use of the Foreign Affairs Plus Model Striving to Build Shenyang into a World-Class City.Relevant departments of Shenyang introduced the city in urban publicity, culture and tourism, investment promotion and other aspects.

▶ To build an international friendship park and an international sister city exhibition hall

Shenyang will invite artists from sister cities to create landmark sculptures that showcase the culture of international sister cities, and build Shenyang International Friendship Park. Shenyang International Sister City Exhibition Hall will be built to comprehensively showcase the achievements of cooperation and exchange among Shenyang and international sister cities. On the basis of the existing 13 international exchange demonstration bases, this year, a group of high-quality enterprises and units representing Shenyang's opening up and displaying Shenyang's unique history and culture will be selected and awarded the title of "Shenyang International Exchange Demonstration Base".

▶ To vigorously support the development of foreign-capital enterprises and merchants in Shenyang

Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee (Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government) will continue to carry out "serving 100 enterprises" project, visiting and connecting export-oriented enterprises and foreign business associations in the city. The office will continuously play the role of service team to support the development of key leading enterprises such as BMW Brilliance and SIASUN Robotics, and continuously improve the level of foreign affairs services to provide convenient foreign affairs services for enterprises to carry out international cooperation.

The office will also carry out the "Staying in the City in a Lifetime" talent attracting project to attract world-renowned scientific and technological innovation enterprises, well-known foreign universities and scientific research institutions to build research and development centers in Shenyang, and promote overseas high-level talents to start and prosper businesses in Shenyang.
