and the think tank Liaowang Institute,

both run by the Xinhua News Agency,

Happy Cities of China Forum 2022

was held in Hangzhou.

The event released

the 2022 list of "China's Happiest City",

and Shenyang was granted

the title of "China's Happiest City".

How is the overall happiness degree

of the "Happy City" calculated?

It is understood that in order to ensure that the results of this survey are more representative, scientific and professional, the organizing committee of the event adopts the "Urban Happiness Index System Based on Big Data" launched by the China Happy City Laboratory, which was led by Oriental Outlook.

The system considers nine primary indicators, namely, employment, residents' income, quality of life, ecological environment, urban appeal, public safety, education, transportation, and medical health, as well as over one hundred of secondary indicators.

Finally, the scores of specific happiness are added to obtain the overall happiness.

From the pocket parks that make people "see green upon opening the window" to the old residential communities that have been "rejuvenated" in succession... In the past decade, Shenyang has made efforts to make the people's "happy dream" more secure and more beautiful.
