On October 31,the 2022 International Automotive Digital and Intelligent Manufacturing Conference and the 3rd Summit of the China-Germany (Shenyang) High-end Equipment Manufacturing Innovation Committee were held simultaneously online and offline in Shenyang and Heidelberg,Germany,with the theme of "Integration and Innovation to Accelerate Digital Intelligence Change in the Automotive Industry".Wang Xinwei,Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Party Committee attended the meeting and issued the appointment letters for the third presidium members of the innovation committee.Lyu Zhicheng,Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Party Committee,Mayor of Shenyang and Academician Henning Kagermann,Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the German National Academy of Science and Engineering and German Chairman of the Innovation Committee,was present.

The China-Germany (Shenyang) High-end Equipment Manufacturing Innovation Committee is composed of enterprises,social organizations,universities and scientific research institutes related to the high-end equipment manufacturing industry of China and Germany.It is an important platform for China and Germany to deepen cooperation in the field of intelligent manufacturing.Since its establishment three years ago,the working mechanism of the innovation committee has been continuously improved,and the number of member units has been expanded to 152,achieving fruitful cooperation results.In particular,it has strongly promoted the construction and development of China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenyang.Up to now,China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenyang has established cooperative relations with more than 300 German and European institutions,associations and enterprises,and settled more than 420 enterprises such as BMW Brilliance and ZF Friedrichshafen AG,among which 127 are foreign-funded enterprises and 72 are German-funded enterprises.The investment scale of automobile industry cluster has reached CNY 80 billion.It has won the titles of China-Germany Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperation Pilot Demonstration Park and National International Science and Technology Cooperation Base.

In his speech,Lyu Zhicheng hoped that experts from China and Germany would actively contribute to the innovative development of Shenyang's automobile industry and that more outstanding enterprises would enter and take root in Shenyang and work hand in hand with us for win-win cooperation.Shenyang will further smooth the exchange and docking mechanism,work closely with German enterprises and institutions,deepen mutual trust and enhance friendship,and create a market-oriented,rule of law and international business environment for enterprises to develop in Shenyang.

Michael Sdiumann,President of the German Federal Federation for Economic Promotion and Foreign Economic Cooperation and Vice Chairman of the Innovation Committee of Germany,Zhao Fuquan,Honorary Life President of the Society of Automotive Engineers and President of Tsinghua Automotive Strategy Research Institute,and Li Jun,Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of the China Society of Automotive Engineers,delivered speeches respectively.Experts and entrepreneurs from China and Germany had in-depth exchanges and dialogues on key technologies and development trends of intelligent manufacturing and intelligent equipment.Huawei,Neusoft Reach Automotive,Germany FEV,Heraeus and other companies became new members of the innovation committee.

Zhou Zhou,Standing member of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor,presided over the meeting.Matthias Biermann,Consul General of the German Consulate General in Shenyang and the heads of enterprises,chambers of commerce,universities and research institutes in China and Germany participated in the meeting through online and offline.
