On May 3, multiple platforms released travel data for the May Day holiday. Among them, according to the "2023 May Day Holiday Travel Data Report" released by Ctrip, Shenyang ranks fifth in the top 10 cities with the strongest "money attraction" of short-distance tourism on the May Day holiday.

According to Ctrip data, the top 10 cities with the strongest "money attraction" of short-distance tourism on the May Day holiday are Jinan, Suzhou, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Shenyang, Hefei, Wuxi, Ningbo, Xuzhou and Taiyuan.

Shenyang is very attractive to tourists from Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area, other cities in the province, Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province and other places, attracting a large number of tourists to come.

During the holiday period, Shenyang received a total of 6.1106 million domestic visits, an increase of 169.76% year-on-year; the total tourism revenue was CNY 5.203 billion, a year-on-year increase of 174.85%.Both the number of visits and tourism revenue hit record highs.
