On December 15,
Shenyang Library launched
the "Ming Dynasty Records
Themed Documentary Exhibition
to Celebrate the 114th Anniversary
of Shenyang Library".

As the treasure of the library,
Ming Dynasty Records, a rare book,
is on display
in the form of graphic description
and digitalization.

Ming Dynasty Records, an official chronicle of the Ming Dynasty, records the history of 16 emperors of the Ming Dynasty from Zhu Yuanzhang, the Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty, to Zhu Youjian, the Emperor Sizong of the Ming Dynasty.

The exhibition is based on the combination of graphic description, partial digital real page picture display and calligraphic copying works, which reveals the Ming Dynasty Records from multiple perspectives.

In addition, the exhibition shows some digital real page pictures of the Ming Dynasty Records and some Shenyang calligraphers' calligraphic copying works to the visitors for the first time.

Visitors can have a comprehensive understanding and cognition of the Ming Dynasty Records through the exhibition.

The exhibition
will last to January 5, 2023.
