New progress in the construction of the west half of Gongnong Bridge!

The erection of the first precast box girder is completed!

On March 23, at the renovation site of Gongnong Bridge, through the collaborative operation of two large cranes, the first precast concrete interior box girder with a first span of 27.6 meters long and weighing 107 tons was steadily erected on the bridge support.It marks the completion of the erection of the first precast box girder of the new bridge on the west half of Gongnong Bridge, and also marks the formal commencement of the superstructure construction of the new bridge on the west half of Gongnong Bridge.

The renovation project of Gongnong Bridge includes the demolition and reconstruction of the west half of the bridge, the reinforcement and renovation of the east half of the bridge, the addition of non-motorized traffic bridge on both sides, and the renovation of Nandi Road overpass on Nanjing Street.It is a key urban construction bridge project in Shenyang and an important river-crossing channel for the north-south transportation trunk line in Shenyang.

Here comes the planned progress of the renovation project of Gongnong Bridge !

✔By the end of May, the construction of precast small box girders and continuous steel box girders will be completed;

✔By the end of June, the construction of all reinforced concrete composite beams will be completed, the construction of all main line superstructure will be completed, and all cofferdams within the river will be evacuated;

✔By the end of July, strive for the opening of the footbridge on the east half;

✔By the end of August, strive for the opening of new vehicle bridges to alleviate the traffic pressure;

✔By the end of the year, the whole project is planned to be completed.
