The reporter learned from the series press conferences with the theme of "100 Years of Struggle & Setting Sail on a New Journey ——the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" held by Liaoning Province that Liaoning will newly-build 25,000 5G base stations,and promote Shenyang to build the first batch of "double gigabit cities" (5G and optical fiber) in China this year.

According to the introduction,the province centring on the digital industrialization and industrial digitization, promotes deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy , vigorously develop wisdom government affairs, wisdom education, wisdom medical care, wisdom logistics, wisdom transportation, wisdom finance, and deeply plants the "digital gene" to make Liaoning accelerate "digital metamorphosis" since this year.Next, the province will focus on promoting the key projects of the upgrading of new infrastructure, digital technology foundation, digital industry breakthrough, industrial digital empowerment, digital society innovation to ensure that the target of the scale growth of the digital economy being 10% will be achieved.

First of all, Liaoning will newly-build 25,000 5G base stations throughout the year, including 5,700 base stations for scene applications;and promote Shenyang to build the first batch of "double gigabit cities" (5G and optical fiber) in China.Secondly, to promote Shenyang and Dalian to establish national new-generation artificial intelligence innovation and development pilot zones;to set up provincial-level science and technology innovation bases and major engineering and technology research centers focus on the fields of industrial software, smart finance, and integrated circuits.In addition, Liaoning will speed up the construction of the second phase of Shenyang International Software Park, create about 10 provincial digital transformation promotion centers, 20 industry-level industrial nternet platforms, cultivate about 30 smart agricultural application bases, and 30 demonstration bases for live streaming of e-commerce.In carrying out the work of creating the pilot of building the new-type smart city, four cities and eight counties will be encouraged to build demonstration trials of smart cities with Liaoning characteristics.
