May 17 is the World Telecommunications Day. On this day, China Mobile Shenyang Company took the lead in completing the 5G network coverage of T1 terminal building, T3 terminal building, the business aircraft building, and the outdoor boarding gate and apron of Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, and put it into trial operation. It is expected that the 5G network of Taoxian Airport will be fully operational and put into use by the end of May.

Shenyang Taoxian International Airport is the first aviation hub in northeast China to achieve indoor 5G network coverage. At present, the 5G network area has been opened, and the peak download rate can reach about 1Gbps, which is dozens of times faster than the 4G network speed.
"The 5G network construction is planned and constructed both indoors and outdoors at the same time, which indicates that the 5G full scene continuous coverage of Taoxian Airport will soon become a reality. In the future, 5G networks will be seamless from indoors to outdoors and from outdoors to indoors," Li Ming, Manager of Network Department, China Mobile Shenyang Company introduced.
