Recently, more than 18,000 ornamental fishes from Peru were cleared by the customs at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport after passing the quarantine inspection.This is the first time since 2020 that Shenyang airport has imported ornamental fishes.

As living animals, the survival rate of ornamental fishes will be affected by many factors such as water temperature and oxygen level.The transportation loss is a loss of real money for enterprises, so there is a high requirement on the customs clearance time.

In order to realize rapid customs clearance, the customs at the airport actively contacted enterprises to learn about the customs clearance requirements before the import, formulated the quarantine inspection plan for ornamental fishes, and helped enterprises to declare materials in advance.At the same time, the customs optimized the inspection process based on the actual situation to ensure that the goods would be inspected and released as soon as possible after customs declaration.Within an hour of arriving at the customs inspection zone, all customs formalities were completed and the ornamental fishes were immediately transferred to the quarantine area.

Recently, the customs at the airport has continuously improved the efficiency of customs clearance, and has safely checked and released imported ornamental aquatic animals from Thailand, Indonesia, Colombia, Peru, Brazil and other countries for many times.
