On February 26,

the taekwondo competition

of the 14th Games of Liaoning Province

(Youth Group)

kicked off

in Shenyang University Gymnasium.

There are more than 500 athletes of 15 teams from Shenyang, Dalian, Anshan, Fushun and other cities participating in the competition.

The competition is divided into Group A (U18), Group B (U16) and Group C (U14) according to age, with a total of 6 groups of male and female.

There will be 42 gold medals produced in events of different levels.

The Games of Liaoning Province, held by the provincial government every four years, is the largest comprehensive sports event with the largest number of participants in the province.

The host city of the 14th Games of Liaoning Province is Fushun, and some of the competition items will be held in other cities in the province.

Among them, Shenyang will host taekwondo, gymnastics, trampoline and international wrestling.

In addition to the ongoing taekwondo competition, the international wrestling competition will kick off in Shenyang University Gymnasium on March 2; the trampoline competition will kick off in the Gymnastic Hall of Shenyang Sports School on March 10; the gymnastics competition will be held in the Gymnastic Hall of Shenyang Sports School on April 3.
