On May 12, it was learned by the reporter from Shenyang Statistics Bureau that in the first quarter of this year, as a whole, the for-profit service enterprises above the designated size in Shenyang continued recovery and growth. According to the latest feedback data from Liaoning Provincial Bureau of Statistics, in the first quarter, the business revenue of the for-profit service enterprises above the designated size in Shenyang reached CNY 14.12 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.8% and registering an acceleration of 3.4 percentage points from that in the previous year.

The operation of businesses showed the following characteristics: First, the business revenue of some key businesses resumed positive growth. Compared with the previous year, the business revenue of cargo handling and storage as well as the services to households, repair and other services resumed positive growth, registering an increase of 53.7% and 13.5% respectively in the first quarter, and an acceleration of 71.8 percentage points and 14.6 percentage points respectively from those in the previous year. Second, the business revenue of software and information technology service businesses grew rapidly, with a growth rate of 23.9% in the first quarter, 13.6 percentage points higher than the average of Liaoning Province. Third, the enterprises which were newly included in the national statistical database played a significant role in driving growth. Compared with that at the end of last year, there was a net increase of 58 for-profit service enterprises above the designated size. In the first quarter, the business revenue of the enterprises which were newly included in the national statistical database accounted for 10.9% that of the for-profit service enterprises above the designated size in Shenyang, pushing up a growth of 4.2 percentage points in Shenyang’s business revenue.
