On April 19, the results of the "2020 (the First) Best International Schools in China" competition were announced, and Canadian International School of Shenyang (CISS) was selected as one of the Top 50 Best International Schools in China. 

The "2020 (the First) Best International Schools in China" competition was organized by the Organizing Committee of the Secondary School Principals Forum and the Yale University Center for International Education Research in collaboration with more than 10 media outlets in China, including Sina, NetEase and iFeng.com. This year, 50 international schools were selected from more than 1,000 international schools. CISS was the only international school in Shenyang to be selected among the final top 50.
