The standard range for urban families living on subsistence allowances will be raised from 740 RMB Yuan to 1,110 RMB Yuan per person per month to 766 RMB Yuan to 1,149 RMB Yuan per person per month,the circular said.The standard range for rural families living on subsistence allowances was raised from 578 RMB Yuan to 867 RMB Yuan per person per month to 766 RMB Yuan to 1,149 RMB Yuan per person per month.The standard for assistance and support for severely impoverished people living in urban area was raised from 1,144 RMB Yuan per month to 1,184 RMB Yuan per person per month.The assistance and support standard for severely impoverished people living in rural area was raised from 914 RMB Yuan to 1,070 RMB Yuan per person per month.At the same time,Shenyang has also raised the basic living standards for orphans,including raising the monthly standards for orphans supported centrally from 1,900 RMB Yuan to 2,170 RMB Yuan per person.The standard for raising scattered orphans has been raised from 1,460 RMB Yuan per person per month to 2,170 RMB Yuan per person per month.

In terms of adjusting the standard of living allowance for retired workers streamlined in the 1960s,the notice stipulates that for those who had taken part in revolutionary work before September 2,1945,and had previously enjoyed living allowances of 100 percent of their standard wages per month,had their allowances increased from 624 RMB Yuan to 656 RMB Yuan per month.For those who took part in revolutionary work from September 3,1945 to September 30,1949,the living expenses of 70 percent of their wages were raised from 584 RMB Yuan per person per month to 614 RMB Yuan per person per month.Those who participated in revolutionary work from October 1,1949 to the end of 1957,who had been entitled to 40 percent of their wages as relief,were raised from 541 RMB Yuan per person per month to 569 RMB Yuan per person per month.Those who took part in revolutionary work from October 1,1949 to the end of 1957 who had previously enjoyed a subsistence allowance were raised from 500 RMB Yuan to 525 RMB Yuan per person per month.
