On September 29,the southern extension of Shenyang Metro Line 2 and Shenyang Metro Line 4 will be put into operation,and the stations are scheduled to officially open at 10:30.

The south extension of Shenyang Metro Line 2 is the first "airport line" of Shenyang Metro, which will connect with the existing Metro Line 2 for operation. The total length of the line is 13.7 kilometers, with 7 stations.

Shenyang Metro Line 4 is the fifth line opened and operated by Shenyang Metro, and is another important north-south main line in the network. The line starts from Zhengxinlu Station in the north and ends at Chuangxinlu Station in the south, with 23 stations and 4 transfer stations.Passengers can transfer to Line 10 at Hezuojie Station, to Line 2 at Shenyangbei Station, to Line 1 at Taiyuanjie Station, and to Line 9 at Changbainan Station.

Operation Time and First/Last Train Timetable

The South Extension of Line 2: the first train from Taoxian Airport Station departs at 6:00, and the last train at 22:00; the first train from Putianlu Station departs at 6:00, and the last train at 23:00.

Line 4: The first train from Zhengxinlu Station and Chuangxinlu Station departs at 5:30, and the last train at 23:00.

Ticket System and Ticket Price

After the opening of the new line, the ticket price rules of the Shenyang Metro ticket system will remain unchanged, with a starting price of CNY 2 and a maximum ticket price of CNY 7.Due to the increase in transfer stations, the ticket prices of some stations and routes will be decreased.
