The reporter learned that as the 5G networks optimize the in-depth use of the users in the fields of mobile video, and social continuously, by the end of May this year, the number of the users in Shenyang who had opened and used 5G plan reached 1.613 million, with the year-on-year growth of 1.02 times on July 6.

The continuous reduction of the charge of 5G plan has promoted the increase of the user scale to a certain extent. The statistics show that in less than two years since 5G commercialization in Shenyang, the unit price of 5G traffic has dropped by 46 percent and been reduced to 4.4 yuan /GB.

In terms of the construction of 5G base stations and networks, Shenyang will build more than 6,000 5G base stations this year on the basis that 7,321 5G base stations had been launched by the end of last year.  At present, the urban and county areas of Shenyang have realized the continuous coverage of 5G signal.
