He Xiaolong Food Week to kick off at the Old North Market on March 19

From March 19 to 21, the highlight of the 6th Shenyang (Heping) Dragon Head-raising Culture Festival - "He Xiaolong Food Week" will be officially opened at the Old North Market.

He Xiaolong Food Week activities will take the Old North Market as the main venue. National well-known brands, such as Ma's Shaomai, Minghuchun roast chicken, Korean glutinous rice cake, the local snacks, such as osmanthus cake, old Beijing quick-fried tripe, Wuhan hot-and-dry noodles, as well as large bowls of butter tea, baked tofu, fried mung bean paste, Taiwan bowl rice pudding and other street snacks, with all kinds of different flavors. Visitors will enjoy the scenery and a great meal with "He Xiaolong".

On March 20 (Saturday) at 10:00, Master Liu Yun, Executive Chef of Lumingchun Restaurant, the protection unit of national intangible cultural heritage "Traditional Cooking Technique of Liao Cuisine" and the inheritor of Liao cuisine, will come to the venue to explain the history and characteristics of Liao cuisine and recommend special Liao cuisine to the audience. A variety of cultural performances will also be held on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00 and from 14:00 to 15:00.

The He Xiaolong Food Week has branch venues such as Taiyuan Street, Changbai Island, Sanhao Street and Heping Bay. More than 100 excellent quality catering enterprises actively participated in the event, distributing coupons to the public through Meituan App and H5 mini-games with the theme of "Fortuna Coupons from the Dragon, Gifts for the Whole City".
