To provide support fund subsidy for the development of non-state-owned museums. The first-level museum will be rewarded 1 million RMB Yuan per year; the second-level museum will be rewarded 500,000 RMB Yuan per year; the third-level museum will be rewarded 300,000 RMB Yuan per year.

Subsidy for new non-state-owned museums. Museums with an exhibition hall area of over 1,000 square meters will be given a one-time subsidy of 1,000 RMB yuan per square meter, and the maximum subsidy does not exceed 2 million RMB Yuan.

Lease subsidy for exhibition hall area.For the museum whose lease term or use period is over 5 years, based on the exhibition hall area filed for approval when the museum is established, 45% of the average annual rent of similar properties in the area is subsidized. The maximum subsidy does not exceed 300,000 RMB Yuan per year.

Ticket subsidy for free open. The non-state-owned museum that receives more 10,000 free visits each year and has no less than 240 days of free opening throughout the year will be given the ticket subsidy. The subsidy is 20 RMB yuan per person, and the total subsidy per year does not exceed 300,000 RMB Yuan.
