The result of electing additional academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) in 2023 was announced.Of a total of 133 newly elected academicians of CAS & CAE,5 scientists from Shenyang were elected.

Let's see who they are!

▶Li Dianzhong, a researcher of the Institute of Metal Research of CAS, was elected as an academician of the Technical Sciences Department of CAS;

▶Liu Yongquan, Chief Designer of AECC Shenyang Engine Research Institute, was elected as an academician of the Mechanical and Transportation Engineering Department of CAE;

▶Yu Haibin, the president of CAS Shenyang Branch and a researcher of Shenyang Institute of Automation of CAS, was elected as an academician of the Information and Electronic Engineering Department of CAE;

▶Pan Yishan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Liaoning University, was elected as an academician of the Energy and Mining Engineering Department of CAE;

▶Zhu Jiaojun, the director and a researcher of Shenyang Institute of Applied Ecology of CAS, was elected as an academician of the Agriculture Department of CAE.

As of now,the total number of academicians of CAS & CAE in Liaoning Province has reached 61,including 29 academicians in Shenyang.Thumbs up!
