On October 26,"From Olmec Culture to Aztec Culture:Exhibition of Ancient Mexican Civilization" kicked off in the No.3 temporary exhibition hall on the first floor of Liaoning Provincial Museum.154 pieces (sets) of exhibits,featuring the leopard as the main line,take you to explore the beauty of ancient Mexican civilization.

This exhibition is the first large-scale exhibition on Central American civilization held since the opening of Liaoning Provincial Museum, and also the first ancient Mexican civilization exhibition in the northeastern region.

The exhibition gathers precious collections from 9 Mexican cultural institutions, including the Mexico National Museum of Anthropology, the Mexico National Museum of Cultures, the Mexico Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone Museum and the Mexico Templo Mayor Museum.Most of the cultural relics are the first time to be exhibited in China for the public.

The exhibition comprises five parts: Encountering American Civilization, Central American Elves, Source of Life, Hometown of Corn and Eternal Tradition.The cultural types of the exhibition are diverse. There is not only the familiar Maya Civilization, but also the rarely known Olmec Culture, Aztec Culture and others.
