The Ranking of the Most Innovative AI Cities in 2023 and the Analysis Report of the Top 500 AI Innovative Cities in the World were released recently. There are 42 Chinese cities shortlisted in the top 500 AI innovative cities in the world, the number of shortlisted cities ranks 2nd in the world, and 19 cities enter the top 100.Shenyang's AI city innovative index ranks 41st in the world, 12th in the country, and 1st in NE China.

Based on the AMiner, the Analysis Report of the Top 500 AI Innovative Cities in the World analyzes from four dimensions of the paper index, scholar index, institution index and international cooperation index from 2013 to 2022, and calculates the innovation index and ranking of cities according to their respective weights.

In recent years,the AI industry has developed rapidly in Shenyang.

In November, 2021, Shenyang was approved to build a new generation of national AI innovation and development pilot zone.

Shenyang Artificial Intelligence Computing Center was completed and officially put into use in August, 2022,which is the first node in NE China to connect to the national computing power network.

At present, the saturation computing power of Shenyang Artificial Intelligence Computing Center has reached 300P, with a cumulative contracted computing power of 303P. The center has been approved as one of the first batch of a new generation of national AI public computing power open innovation platforms.
