On November 5,the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off in Shanghai.Shenyang sent a delegation to participate in it.

A total of 1,098 units and 2,013 people from Shenyang participated in the CIIE. The numbers of registered units and registered personnel reached the highest ever.An intended transaction amount hit USD 140 million in various fields such as technical equipment, consumer goods, food and agricultural products, automobiles, medical devices and healthcare, and service trade.

During the CIIE, Shenyang Municipal Commerce Bureau organized 16 relevant foreign-funded enterprises and representatives of foreign business associations stationed in China to participate in the Exchange and Matchmaking Conference for Commercial Economy and Trade of Liaoning at the CIIE to promote the investment environment in Shenyang and carry out investment promotion activities.

Shenyang invited leading enterprises in the fields of automobiles and the components, jewelry, food and new retail industries to invest, and the activities achieved remarkable results.

In addition, the bureau promoted products produced and manufactured by local industrial enterprises and key enterprises to domestic and foreign exhibitors and buyers, and invited all entrepreneurs to invest and start business in Shenyang.
