Quezon City is the former capital of the Philippines (1948-1976). It's named after Manuel Quezon, the former president of the Philippines. It's one of the 13 satellite cities of Metro Manila, the capital of the Philippines, and the biggest city of Luzon and Metro Manila. It covers 166.2 square meters, about one quarter of the total area of Metro Manila. It's also the most populous city.
