Recently,in the UHV National Engineering Test Hall of TBEA Northeast Transmission and Transformation Industrial Park,a new generation of direct outgoing line 1000kV AC UHV transformer passed all tests at one time,and China's UHV transformer technology made another leading breakthrough,marking that TBEA Shenyang Transformer Co.,Ltd. has become the first enterprise in China to pass all tests of a new generation of 1000kV AC UHV transformers at one time.

What is special about the "new generation"?

After special demonstrations and guidance by State Grid and industry experts,the product adopts a new direct outgoing line device for the first time,which is fixed on the equipment,avoiding the risks arising from the disassembly,on-site reassembly and other processes of the indirect outgoing line device after the test.The new coil insulation structure is adopted for the first time to further improve the insulation characteristics,anti-short circuit strength,temperature raising distribution,workshop production process and other performances of the product,especially to meet the requirements of transformer temperature raising in high altitude areas.The new explosion-proof design concept of oil tank is adopted for the first time,which greatly improves the explosion-proof performance of transformer.

The application of these new technologies has made the technical performances of the new generation of 1000kV AC UHV transformer surpass that of the previous generation,reducing the total loss by over 80 kW,and greatly improving the energy efficiency of the products.

The successful test of the new generation of 1000kV AC UHV transformer not only improves the safety and stability of China's AC transformers in high-altitude areas,but also plays a very important role in clean energy consumption and ensuring the stable operation of the power grid.
